Study In Japan

Education In Japan
Students with a high school graduation certificate may continue their education to high school or technological colleges. High schools generally offer a three-year program, in which Evening high schools and correspondence courses offer programs for more than three years. Most of the students get enrolled in language school but if students have a sound academic, then they can apply directly to universities. JLPT and NAT are optional.
Within universities you have to follow a tight class schedule and attend several courses and seminars. Professors are friendly but students are expected to question at the end of class.
Living cost and tuition fee
A year’s tuition will start about 7,000USDper year with a student visa. The living cost is affordable in comparison to western universities and colleges.

Applying Japan for a student visa is a multiple-step process. The first step is to fill the college application and submit them. Then the school rechecks your qualification and submits your application to the respective immigration authorities in Japan. Before the submission of your visa application, you have to get a certificate of eligibility which is compulsory.
Once you apply to a school they will send you (or ask you to download) the following documents that you need to fill in and submit to the school:
- Application for with your data.
- Personal history form (Previous educational and occupational history)
- Application Essay( Why you want to study in Japan)
- Translation of diploma and transcript certificate into Japanese.
- If applicable, certificate of previous Japanese Studies.
- 8 Passport size photos.
- Medical History
- Letter of remittance( Salary Certificate)
- Balance Certificate(usually at least 1600000 Yen)
- Proof of employment for you or your sponsor.
- Letter of sponsorship
Get your CoE
After the acceptance of your application, the school will submit your documents to the immigration authorities. After 4 weeks before the start of your course, they will issue a Certificate of Enrollment. After receiving your CoE you have to pay your 1st-semester fee.
Theoretically, the Japanese immigration authorities can deny you a CoE but that has rarely happened for western students. However, if you apply late or if your application is incomplete or if you are just unlucky your CoE might arrive close to the start of your course giving you some time pressure so do what you can to avoid that. The last step to get a student visa to Japan is to submit the following documents at the Japanese Embassy in your home country. You have to submit the following documents.

- Your passport
- A passport photo
- A visa application form
