After Acceptance Letter:

  1. Proof of Funds: Bank Statement showing a balance of at least USD 10,000–15,000 (approx. 7-9 Lakhs INR) to cover living expenses.
  2. First-Year Tuition Fee Payment: Tuition fees for the first year should be paid before applying for the study permit.
  3. Study Permit Application: Apply online for a Study Permit (Student Visa).
  4. Medical Exam Report: If required by immigration, undergo a medical examination.
  5. Police Clearance Certificate: For Visa processing.
  6. Passport-sized Photos: Typically, 2-4 photos in the specified size.
  7. Visa Application Fee: Approx. USD 160 for student permit.
  8. Visa Decision: Normally takes 2-3 months.
  9. Proof of Accommodation: Provide evidence of accommodation in the USA (university dorms or off-campus).
  10. Biometrics Appointment: Submit biometrics (fingerprints and photo) at a visa center.

Dependents:

  • Dependents (spouse/children) can apply for a visa along with the student.
